There are 2 large rubber hoses leading out of the radiator. One on the upper part and the other on the lower part. The thermostat is located in one end of the lower hose attached to the engine.

Where is the fuel pump relay located on my 94 honda civic dx

d3b8073d-1bf3-4380-950a-09fe156d8ad9.jpgThe fuel pump relay is located under the dashboard of the car right next the fuse panel. Depicted in the included photo, is the exact replacement relay for a 1994 Honda Civic DX, and should look like, or similar to, the one located by the fuse box.

I hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using fixya!

I think the thermostat may be sticking on my sons 1994 Civic. I has new water pump, radiator and hoses. Could you tell me where the thermostat is located?

Follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the thermostat housing. Remove the hose. There are 2 bolts holding the housing in place. The thermostat is mounted underneath the housing and can now be removed. To test the thermostat drop it in a cup of boiling water and it should open. Since it is not a very costly item you may as well change it once it's open. When replacing, the spring end points away from the hose.

Where is the main reley located on a 1994 hoda civic del sol

I think main(fuel pump) relay on all Honda's located under the dash , driver side , if you look from under the dash it's close to the fender but deep , very hard to reach , small hands will do.

1994 Honda Civic LX\overheating within 2 mile drive

Remove and raise upper hose at thermostat end and remove lower rad hose.
Fill rad with a hose and watch for flow from bottom rad hose and/ or bottom rad hose connecton.......water should fall though rad easily.
Honda rads are cheap.....any restriction....replace rad.

Remove thermostat....fill thermostat housing with hose and watch for water flow at bottom rad hose.
Flush good.

Remove heater hoses.......flush back and forth until a good flow is present "With heater control set to hot" if no or poor flow....replace heater core.

Stop leak can plug everything.

Also.......not likely causing over heating....but ....at your mileage,if you do not know if the timing belt has been changed.....CHANGE IT NOW!
Water pump is optional at this mileage.

I have a 1994 honda civic dx coupe i just want to know where the Thermostat located. My car don't overheat just wondering why radiatior is over flowing.

Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to where it connects to the engine block. Your thermostat should be directly under the hose there.
