Question about Suzuki Grand Vitara
White smoke a startup is usually an indication of bad valve seals, and the solution is to remove the head and have them replaced-it can be done with special techniques with the head installed, and requires a compressor, remove the retainers, springs and replace the seals.
I'd remove the head and have the valves cleaned up at the same time as the seals replaced, if you have good rings it would be like a new engine.
