Question about 2006 Chevrolet Uplander
We just purchased our Uplander yesterday and it came with no owners manual. How do you get the sound to play in the whole vehicle for the DVD player (not in the headphones), or is it only in the headphones?
I have a 2005 with DVD - but do not have the wireless headphones. I use the AUX button on the front radio to switch between FM/AM/and the DVD Player. I do have headphones jacks in the roof console by the DVD player, but have never used them.

When we purchased our used 2005 uplander, we had the same issue with no sound coming from the main speakers when using the dvd player. Our issue was related to an aftermarket navigation system that was installed previously. This created a audio wiring problem between the head unit and the dvd player.
We took it back to the dealership to have it repaired. Since then, it's been working great.
As far as the headphones go, make sure you have new batteries in them and the red light comes on on each unit. Ours worked automatically with the dvd player without having to adjust any settings.
Hope any of this helps!
