Question about 2004 Kia Sedona
I had a wheel come off on the freeway without warning or noise or vibration on my KIA Sedona 2004. I contacted KIA and they said this was not unusaul. I saw that there was a recall for the problem which they claim they repaired. I don't think the problem was really address. Who would I contact at the State or Consumer level to address this?
I recommend having it checked as soon as possible. It may be the bearings wearing out and about to fail, the wheels needing balancing. My tire came off without any warning until the last second.

First of all make sure you have or can find all of the paperwork showing that work was done to your vehicle on the recall. Otherwise an unethical dealership can "lose" their records for lawsuit purposes. Always keep the copies of everything that the dealer gives you in a file for such purposes. I would return with the paperwork to the place that serviced the recall and present them with your case. Most of the time they will honor your requests, just don't back down. If you are not satisfied with their deal then you can seek legal counsel. Most lawyers will listen to your problem and give you advice for free for the first consultation. You can also contact the Better Business Bureau and state your problem and they will provide you with legal counsel at their cost.
