Question about 2005 Mazda RX-8
Hmmm. Did "they check it with an OBD-II code reader. If the MIL is on the system needs to have the trouble codes read. If "they" can't do it you can take your car to NAPA or any other large auto parts chain to have it read for free. I am sure rusty pipes wont set off the light unless the rust is on the inside, causing cloggs. There are no rust sensors. Have a good day!
