Question about Chevrolet 1500
U need to get that cover off the governor to chek the actual gear on the governor, jus pulls out wen cover removed. also there is a small hole in the case where the snapring rides in the bore around the cover that allows u to insert a pik in the hole to be able to push against the snapring therefore allowing u to pry ring away and remove cover. inspect gear on governor prob stripped out. u can adjust ur tv cable easily by going to cable at carb hook up an pressing a button on the tv cable end (housing) then while pressing push cable towards fire wall away from radiator therefore making cable tension tighter ,next u go inside the vehicle an step on the throttle w engine off all the way down to the floor while u do this u can hear the cable ratcheting outwards to its setting that it needs to b at. sorry i dont know about fitments. good luck
