I'm going to guess that this was a leaking gasket on the intake and your engine may have suffered some problems since your post?

The heater-core is leaking, - replace

make sure the radiator is topped up when in use, it should be ok., you can also by-pass the heater-core by disconecting the hoses on the engine side of the firewall & reconect on to the engine block so the water only circulates through the engine & doesnt enter the heater-core, so that it is a closed system then.

2003 hyundai sonata rear defrost and moisture on it and all windows dont seeem to defrost and have to turn down cuz too hot but still inside moisture on windows

Your heater core is leaking. Will not defrost because the moisture leaking out of the heatercore is just refogging up your windows. Replace the heater core. Feel your floorboards, espically the passenger side and see if its wet. Check and see if coolent lvl is low. Im 98% sure if you let your engine get to operating temp, and get down in the passenger floorboad and look up under dash, you will see the coolent spraying/leaking out. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, they are always hard to replace.

2004 chevy trailblazer leak n antifreeze from behind fan

the fan you are referring to is inside the trailblazer on the passenger side behind dash near floor wall? If this is the case it is the heater core and needs to be replaced by a professional. If is is under the hood in the engine compartment it is the water pump in need of replacement? thanks good luck on the heater core..

My 2000 chevy impala leaks water from the passenger side dash board when i run the AC looked under the dash and the blower is where the water is coming from it is only water and no coolent

There is a hose that likely got knocked off. this hose is black, about 1/2 inch inside diameter and jamb fits to a port on the very bottom of the heater box. The hose can get kicked off, sometimes.

I have coolant steam inside my car coming from my heater - 98 chevy blazer

Hello
Your going to need a heater core, this is located in the heater fan box under the dashboard.
Possibly may be found mounted to the firewall under the hood.

Let it cool down before attempting any repairs.Another possibility is a broken hose at the heater core.

I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4.3 auto my windsheld builds up with steam i change the thermostat thinking it was that but still steaming up the windows

Hi, if it is steaming up the inside of your windows, you have a water leak in your heater core. It is located on the passenger side enclosed. Check you water level also. You can try adding some engine stop leak, a good brand is Bar's leak that will seal any small leak which is what you probably have. Make sure you are running a 50?50 mixture of antifreeze. Good Luck, and please let me know.

My buick is releasing steam vapor though the vest and is leaking in the car from the dash, what could it be? and also it is leaking from underneth the passenger side.

Your heater core needs to be replaced. It's located on the passenger side , under the dash. The heater core is like a small radiator. Coolant from the engine is circulated through it, and that is what provides heat in the car. The heater core is leaking, causing the 'vapor' through the vents, and leaking on the carpet on the passenger side. Heater cores are a pain to remove and replace, it's quite a labor intensive job.

Antifreeze/coolant leaking from under passenger side dash

If it's your heater core, unless you're a mechanic you probably should get professional help. The heater core is located on the firewall and many parts need to be replaced to get to it. Do you see water on the floor inside the vehicle, Many times a heater core will leak inside.

Sounds like the heater core (a small radiator of sorts under the dash) is leaking or a hose going to it is leaking. If in a warm climate, you could bypass or block the heater hoses temporarily. Their only purpose is to make heat avail to interior of car. The 2 heater hoses either connect to feedthru's at the firewall or simply pass thru the firewall to the heater core. Every car I've seen has it on passenger side.

Peer up under the dash, it should be clear where it's coming from.
