1995 nissan pickup. When i start the truck none of the cab electrical works. the battery kept dying so i replaced it. it seems to be starting the engine ok but could the alternator be going out?

Put a voltmeter on the battery with the engine running. It should read at least 13.5 volts to know the alternator is working good. If it reads below 13 volts, it is not working good, may not be working at all.
What cab electrical circuits are not working? Or are they working now?

No start

it'll be your clutch safety switch more than likely! If you follow the clutch pedal up, underneath the dash you should see a switch. To test, pull the wire off, and "short" the two prongs
(Run a wire interconnecting the two) and try and start it.
MAKE SURE you have the truck in neutral, or your foot on the clutch!

Like all imports wiring was marginal and prone to failure. Check and clean all ground wires. Especially the one that connects the bed to the chassis. If one is not present, install one. Also remove the taillights and clean the contacts, then add a die-electric grease to prevent additional corrosion. Go to the local autoparts store or good central library for additional information on your truck.

1995 nissan pu wont start... everything turns on

check for power to the starter at the starter's connectors while you have someone turn the key. If there is power, change the starter. If not check your ignition switch, (manual trans)clutch pedal switch, and starter fuses/relays. Hopefully this helps

The new starter worked only about 5 times... then it stopped working. Now if I turn the key, there is nothing... then I push started the truck and got it running.. once it was running I decided to turn the...

I had the exact same problem, I replaced the starter, it worked a couple more times and then nothing. I completely checked the entire starting/ignition circuit and found a problem in the clutch inhibitor relay circuit. When I jumped the relay the truck started. Tracing the circuit back to the clutch switch I found that the little blue plastic landing on the clutch pedal itself had a hole in it where the clutch switch would fit right into it. Thus when you depressed the clutch the system would not see the switch close, thereby not energizing the clutch inhibitor relay allowing the truck to start. Long story short, my problem and maybe yours was a $1.50 piece of plastic on the clutch pedal landing.

I owned one and i regret having to have sold it. I do not know of any ongoing problems with this vehicle. check around your clutch pedal for wires that may be rubbing against it and are grounding out or cut? you can find schematic in manual at parts store and i recommend buying one for your own good. They are a wealth of information about your vehicle.

95 nissan Truck

Your truck should have fuel injection, so there would not be a choke. Your best bet is tostart with simple items. Sounds like you have a main line fuel filter clogging up. And if that is the case, you need to have your injectors flushed.
