Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
Under the hood on the passenger side, comeing off the firewall you will see the evaporator(long aluminum cylender) attached in line. In front of the evaperator is the switch, it has a 2 wire plug going to it.

Check the low pressure switch,it is on the dryer or on the low side line,the large ac line,this can be the problem,try jumping the two wires that are plugged into the switch.If the freon is low,or out,this switch will not allow the ac compressor to come on.
