530 diesel e39 2001 that

530 diesel e39 2001 that starts fine and runs ok as i should, then after a while it will just cut out for no reason when sat in traffic or at traffic lights and sometimes when slowing down at a roundabout. on tickover it runs as what i would describe as "lumpy" were the revs will not stay constant.
