Question about 1984 Ford Mustang
I've had several calls in the past of people stuck because their Ford ignition "would not turn". All were because they had parked the vehicle with the wheel turned all the way either left or right. If you turn the wheel just a bit more in the direction the wheels are already turned and hold it while trying to turn your igniton, you should be fine. Hope this is what you meant by "won't turn at all"

It sounds like the ignition tumblers have become disengaged from it springs. This would easily lock up the ignition cylinder. You may have to bite the bullet and go to the dealer or an aftermarket company for service. I hate telling you that, but you could replace it your self if you found one from a junk car. You keys wouldn't be the same and you have to be extremely careful with any airbags, so disconnect the battery before doing anywork. good luck
