I have a 1988 club car gas golf cart. I have done everything that I can think off. cleaned carburater, drained all fuel tank, replaced battery, replaced some of the gas lines. golf cart will only run...

When you say cleaned carburater did you take it all apart and spray carb cleaner through all the ports, it only takes the smallest debris for it to not run properly

Have a 1988 accord. Engine idles real high rpm (4-5k) It is a carb'd model. I replaced the carb with one from a junk yard. Just can't get the rpm down.

even with a use carb you should have had it reconditioned before installing it, and also replace the spacer gasket , other wise you are fighting a lost cause

1988 Honda Accord Firing Problem

hello with cars theres never a cheap way best thing you can do is to pull a couple of plugs first see how the gap area looks clean lightly dicolored no oil deposits second unscrew distributor cap flip up look inside the towers inside are they relatively clean or are they heavly deposited with flakey matariel and the rotor tip at the top of your dist if these things are present replace also fuel filter if carberated were the line hooks up some have a nut shaped housing that unscrews from the carb were there is a second fuel filter this is the route to go first carbs can run in the 400-500 range for these cars goodluck
