Oil change done, went to update the computer and none of the buttons are responding on the dash of my 1999 Windstar SEL - not the RESET, SETUP, or INFO button. How do I fix?

Press the setup button to access the system, then press and release the reset button, then press and hold the reset button for two seconds. The "if new oil" message will display. Press reset again until 100% is displayed. Your oil reminder is now reset. Good luck.

I can't get the back line off my fuel filter on a 03 ford winstar

Tracy, If connectors are like in first video I linked, push line in on filter this will make tabs easier to push in, press tabs in on connector, then pull off hose while holding tabs in. You may have to spray WD40 or like oil to help free up and a lot of turning and wiggling, some stick on really good. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How to reset oil light to 100%

Look in your owners manual

If you have buttons on the dash, push the status button
& watch the dash until the oil light comes up, then
hit the reset button once, then hold it

That is just a gadget & has no ties to the vehicles compute,
as far as doing anything, you can forget it if you like

I have a 2004 Lincoln L/S, if I waited until it got to zero I
would be driving for a year & have 10,000 miles on the oil,
so it isn't of much value.

How do you reset the computer on a ford windstar

Based on what you're indicating, it sounds like a wiring harness or connection was disturbed during the oil change. This is common where the oil filter is not easily reached and parts need to be removed to access the oil filter.
Normally I'd recommend looking for a loose clip or wire yourself but since you mentioned it was immediately after the oil change, I'd consider going back to where the oil was changed let them know the problem started when you left the service station and must have been due to something they did. Apart from that, I wouldn't recommend trying to "reset" the computer at this time. If you've a loose connection it wouldn't help and losing power to the computer to reset it could leave you with no stereo.

Can't figure out how to clear the "oil change required" indicator on my 2003 windstar.

if your vehicle has a oil life meter and displays it on your odometer you can reset it with the odometer button by holding it in for 3 to 5 seconds. if not you have a oil reset button in the driver side fuse pannel.
