The starta motor is clearly visible from under the vehicle, it is bolted to the transmission on the radiator side. but clicking can also be bad battery terminals, check that first. goodluck.pls let me know how it goes.

My 2003 grand caravan starts sometimes but other times i only get 1 click then i turn key again and sometimes it starts right up or ill get another click could this be my starter?

It sound like a bad connection at the battery terminal, start by cleaning up the battery post first not only the terminal. If the post are black clean them the must shine then the inside of the terminal. Now check your ground connection it must be clean also. Now that all is clean make sure that it is also tight, turn the key it should turn on without fail. If you still get a click check the connections at the starter just like at the battery. If you still get a click jet the starter checked at a auto parts like auto zone you may need to replace it. Hope this helps you. JOe

2001 dodge caravan 3,3L

I was working for a company that used 1995 Caravan's for their sales force and I do not know of any sensor. I am confused by the term "cover".

Do you mean valve cover? If so does the sensor go somewhere? I can solve your problem, but I need move info. Please call or email me.

Either, way let me know the outcome. Your feed back is my only reward. Also, please rank my answer with as many thumbs as you think I should get.

Where is the starter located on a 2003 grand

before going after the starter, check the battery and connections. battery must have at least 12v and should be able to withstand a 200amp load for at least 15 seconds to check out as good. I think your starter is on the bottom side of the engine facing the radiator. easiest way to find it is to follow the positive cable from the goes right to it.

check from the starter relay if you get any power when you attempt to start, if you do, take out relay and connect the cable with power to the cable to the solenoid, (usually red black), if car starts, replace PRND switch on the transmision its very easy to change, once you locate it, you can also try to start the van while moving gear lever within P. GOOD LUCK!
