Is the system set to the recirculate position? If so, check the inlet under the dash, by the passengers feet, for anything blocking the pickup. This can cut the output in half.

I just got a 1983 33 ft Southwind Motorhome and everything in it works just fine except the ac quit working so I decided to try the 1 in back and it wouldnt come on either I only ran 1 at a time

The Ac system can not work for a variety of reasons. The most common is a low freon charge. You need to have the system pressures checked with gagues to determine if freon is the issue or there is an electrical problem with the compressor

Can't get compresser to come on..

The AC compressor will not operate if the freon charge is low. Have the system tested for proper charge. If the freon charge is ok, you may have a compressor relay, wiring, or compressor issue

My ac system is blowing hot air, how can i fix it?

You need to know how an ac system works to make repairs.
It could be an electrical problem, low on freon, or a mechanical problem with the compressor.
A mechanic would check for power to the compressor and the freon charge with a gauge set.
Freon is minus 30 degrees coming out of the can.

My A/C is blowing warm air. Someone said to clean the A/C fliter where is it? It's a 97 GMC Sonoma 2.6 L. Two wheel drive.

It does not have one, and if it did it would not make it blow warm air, just less air. Have the freon charge checked in the AC system for proper pressures, would be a good place to start, & check to see if the AC compressor is kicking in. I hope this helps.

Air conditioner input won't take freon

Is the ac compressor coming on when you are trying to charge the system?I have never seen a ac service port clogged up.Are you sure the ac system needs freon?A set of ac gauges is the best way to tell. Are you using ac gauges,or just a single charge hose? There are reasons for this problem you are having, but I need some information,If you would, let me know,roniecon@gmail.com

How do I put freon into 1993 grand cherokee 5.2 engine?

Look for the large ac line/hose coming out of the ac compressor, and follow that line until you come to a small ac port, this is the low side where you will hook up to to charge.I take it you have purchased a charge hose and freon?Put the can of 134a freon on the can tap at end of charge hose, and the quick connect will snap on the low side ac port on the vehicle.Turn the freon can upside down and turn the t handle on the can tap until it pierces the can.Start the vehicle, and set all settings high blower motor, max air, recirculate mode. The ac compressor should cycle on and off, this is normal, until there is enough freon in system. When the can starts to empty, shake the can lightly until empty. It will be hard to tell, but you will figure it out.Turn the can t-handle back out,and unscrew the can an repeat process until enough freon is in the system. You can get to much freon in the system.so see hoe much it takes to fill it on the label under the hood.If the system was not empty,it won`t take the fill amount,go slow, and feel the cold parts(large ac line near the firewall). They should get dern cool,to cold, and sweating really good.Stop when this happens, and it is cool inside.

Adding freon to the auto air conditioner, the

On that model,it will cycle on and off while you add freon. If it does not ,then the ac system might have a problem. The low side pressure switch is located on,or near the accumulator .Unplug the switch and take the wire end plug and connect the two plug in`s together(cross it out on the wire). This will make the ac compressor engage and you can charge the system,do not leave the wire connected, plug it back up to switch. If the ac compressor does not come on ,then have the system checked out.

My ac does not blow cold in my 97 cadillac deville but it does blow just not cold and its n ot the fuse what can i do?

You probably have leaked out your freon after so much time. Try adding some more Freon if it doesnt stay charged you may have bigger issues.

A/c in jetta blows hot air, its been charged, compressor comes on.

you need to have it diagnosed by a professional. These are complicated systems even to a trained tech. You may be over or under charged, have a clogged expansion valve, have a leak or many other issues. This model has a rcv refrigerant control valve inside the compressor which regulates the pressure of the compressor. If you notice the compressor never shuts off like conventional auto a/c's do the only time the clutch works is when you turn it on or off. Can be complicated.
