Where is the reset button for fuel pump c

I think the reset switch is in the rear quarter panel. Open the rear hatch and remove the passenger panel. I am not positive on this it could be on the other side. But on the 1990's vintage it was on the right. This switch is used for "roll overs" to shut of the fuel. You might have a bad pump or clogged filter instead.

Volvo s40 fuel keeps running when the key is out

The humming is the fuel pump still on while vehicle is off,did someone work on your car recently, cos this sounds like symptoms of a fuel pump that has been connected directly.

My 1995 toyota avalon runs about 5 minutes and shuts down, then it takes a hour to crank it back up

Could be your fuel pump. When it runs see if you can hear your fuel pump running, should be a low humming noise towards middle rear of vehicle. When the vehicle goes dead, keep the key in the on postion see if you still hear the fuel pump running. Also while it is running check to see if the temperature gause goes way up. It may be overheating, because of low coolant, or have a bad thermostat sensor and think its overheating and shutting its self off. If these check out it could also be a clogged fuel filter. Without being there its a tough call.

What turns on in right rear of my 2006 Denali when it is started?

Sure wish I had a little more information, I could give a more detailed answer.
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. Often it makes a little humming noise and if the pump starts to go bad, the noise can get quite loud.

The car has been seemingly acting as if it is out of gas. I think its the fuel filter. But today it cut off all together. It will still turn over but will not crank. She my daughter said it also smoked a...

more than likely a clogged fuel filter[hopefully] if not that lets try this before you do anything.turn your key to the 'on' position can you hear a slight hum coming from the fuel pump in the gas tank under the rear of your car. it may take 2 people. one to turn the key on and one to listen at the rear of the car.try this several times to see if you hear the hum. if you hear the hum,the fuel pumps working. and then you know it's most likely a clogged fuel filter.if no hum heard,go under your hood to the main engine fuse box[black box] take the cover off of it. on the underside of lid, look for fuel pump relay, replace that relay with new one.if it's a fuse, replace the fuse. if this does'nt repair your problem, the fuel pump has went bad and in need of replacement.the pump is located inside the gas tank. the gas tank will have to come down and out in order to replace the bad fuel pump.try these solutions to see if they help,if you need further assistance, please repost your question to fixya.com and thank you for choosing fixya.com wish you the very best of luck!

Need image on the location of an egr valve

This could be your first step:
One of the first things that you should do is check to see if the fuel pump is running. You can do this by opening the gas cap and putting your ear close to it and having someone turn the ignition switch on. If you hear a loud hum then it is presumed to be working. If you don't hear the humming sound it doesn't mean the pump isn't working. It could be that there is built-up pressure of fuel in the line and the inline fuel filter is plugged. Turn off the key, remove the fuel filter that is mounted to the frame along the left rear side of frame. Place a metail container under the fuel line when removing it from filter. Turn on the ignition momentarily to confirm the fuel pump does pump fuel in to container. Install new fuel filter, turn on ignition, wait for fuel to come up to engine (4 or 5 seconds)and then crank engine over. If it starts your fuel line was plugged at the filter. If it doesn't start, your injectors could be plugged and fuel will not atomize properly. Have the vehicle towed in to sevice garage and have the entire fuel system tested and the injectors ultrasonically cleaned. You should use a fuel system cleaner like STP or GUMOUT fuel injector and system cleaner that you add to your fuel tank, so you can clean the tank, lines, and injectors as you drive.
That is a start, Good luck!! EJ Kudelka

My 1995 Nissan Maxima wont start. I smell gas.

Sounds like a bad fuel pump, check if the smell comes under the rear wheels and also check for a loud humming noise when the key is turned to on. Those are signs of a bad fuel pump.
