The lens are not removable by themselves. You will need the get the entire headlight capsule, it includes the rear part with adjusters. They are quite easy to replace, and surprisingly inexpensive aftermarket. $30 - $50 depending on brand.

I need to replace the headlight lenses on an 06 PT Cruiser. I have the lenses, but no instructions on how to do it! Any ideas?

you need to take the light out of car. take the rubber covers off and bulbs out and motor for the lights if you have them on your light. no in the kitchen preheat your oven gas mark 6-7 electric 500f or as high as it will go. leave one shelf in the oven. place light in oven for 10 min. keep checking on it wile it is in. take out of oven and have these tools ready. 2 flat head screw drivers the bigger the head the better. even a scraper for taking wall paper off. now on the light when it is out were the lens and the head light case fits together put the screw driver in and prize out the lens with both screw drivers of whatever you are using to get into the gap. if pas side prize out right side of light first. left side for drivers side. if cools wile you are doing this. put back in the oven. keep doing this till it is off. now putting back on the new lens. the old glue on the head light make sure it still covers the hole of the light frame for the lens. if not heat some off the old lens and fill in the gaps. put the head light in the oven again and keep an eye on it by checking the glue seal is tacky to the touch. pull out when is and pull out of the oven and push the new lens on. keep heating it up can use a hair dryer on high heat setting for this. and keep heating and pushing the lens on till it all covers the seam like when you took the old one off. when done leave to cool down and give the light a good clean then put every thing back on light and back onto the car. all done. hope this helps this is how you do it to all lights that are plastic or glass type. if glass type it heats up quicker so be aware of that. if light is smashed best not to put in oven use a hair dryer as the oven can make the edges of the broken lens melt and could damage the reflector in the light. will take long to get of with hair dryer.

We are trying to change a head light in the truck but the head light cover looks like its sealed with glue is that normal its not comeing off easy

The head light is a lens, the bulb is replaced, the bulb is at the rear of the head light under the hood, the retainer twists off and then the bulb is removed.

How to change liscense plate bulb

it`s very simple-- above lic. plate you will see the light lens. There may be 2 phillips screws, if there are just remove them and use a small flat head scewredriver to pop it open. Then remove the ``penut`` bulb. If there are no phillip screws, then use the flat head to pop the lens.
Also before you start lift the trunk open and see if you can access the bulbs from in there.
Good luck-it is very simple..

How to change the inside overhead brake lights in an 86 corvette

1.Remove the two Phillips head screws from the brake light lens cover.
Pull the lens cover away from the tail light panel. Set it aside on a soft surface because the lens scratches easily.

3.Push in the bad brake light bulb. Twist it counterclockwise to disconnect it from the socket
Insert the new brake light bulb while wearing gloves. Twist it clockwise to secure it to the socket.

Re-position the lens cover. Push it in firmly to secure it, and then tighten the two screws.

Good luck!!!!!

Condensation inhead light

You may have a small rock chip (hole) in the lens that could be plugged with 5 min epoxy , or the bulb may not be seated and sealed properly. If the seal around the outside edge of the lens where it meets the plastic housing is leaking , I would get a new headlight from an auto wrecker and change it.

Stop light out

For the brake light open the rear hatch and check beside the tail light. I believe ther is 2 phillips head screws right where the light meets the rear hatch on the body panel. remove them and gently yet firmly pull the lens assembly from the corner of the rear body panel. Squeeze the clips on the back of the socket and twist to remove the socket from the lens. Push gently on the bulb and turn carefully to remove light from the socket replace the light and reverse removal procedure to install.
