Does it stick at about half full? I would fill up, the gauge would show full then after 60-70 mile when gauge should show less than half to a 1/4 tank the gauge still showed 1/2 tank so I'd go ahead and fill it up. Finally, I watched my mileage and when my yellow low on gas light came on I filled it half full. After a couple of weeks I filled it up and the gauge has worked every since.

I'm sorry to hear you spent money on parts that didn't get you started. I think your problem is you are in need of a valve adjustment. You will need a torx screw driver, a feeler gauge, and a 10mm wrench. Remove the valve cover and check the looseness of your rocker arms, you will have some. Place your feeler gauge at .004 thousandths , place torx screw driver into adjustment slot, and place 10mm wrench on nut to loosen hold. Tighten torx screw to were feeler gauge just feels snug between top of valve and rocker arm, tighten 10mm nut. Do his on both valves and your done. this is a common problem on overhead valve heads. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
