Justin, The gas leak is probably a rusted out fuel line, the location you pointed out is one of the first places fuel lines deteriorate and leak. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

You'll need to look for a liquid fuel leak, or a damaged vent hose.

Leaking something

There are only 2 things that run the length of your car.

1. Gas
2. Brake Fluid.

If its gas then you have a cracked or broke gas line. And if its brake fluid you have a ruptured line.

A simple dab and smell will tell you witch it is. If you are not mechanically inclined i would take it to your preferred mechanic shop.

First, there is NO Pumping of the brake pedal

Brake fluid is leaking out the front left tire!

This is most likely a busted or separated line that is connected to the brake housing(on the front tire assembly). inspect the line for a tight fit. replace the line and coupler if found to be defective.

In most severe cases, the caliber may be faulty.

I have fuel dripping in the front near carbuerator

Most often the leak is at the fuel line connection at the carb. Replace this gasket and check the fuel filter at the same time. Do not use thread sealant! Do not drive it with this leak!! Frankster016

Hesitating could mean a bad spark plug, wires or if the fuel filter hasn't been changed in a long time, check underneath the vehicle along the fuel line from the gas tank and see if there is a filter. Usually it is either near the rear tire well area, or near the engine, if not it could be one that is inside or near the gas tank itself. Also have a pulsing test done on the injectors to make sure there is enough pressure and electric to them.
