Question about 1994 Mazda MX-6
Not sure what the last person is on about but if your talking about the black box with a hose under it an joins to the radiator it is an air lock remover for when your filling the radiator

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The cylinders are, front bank is from drivers side to passenger, 6-5-4 , and 3-2-1 at the firewall.

Further test showed that the Crank Position Sensor was bad. Replaced it and the vehicle was fine.
