Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
That all depends on how far overdue your car is for an oil change! If it is so badly overdue for an oil change that the engine has seized-up, it won't crank. If it is just due (or overdue) for an oil change and no engine damage has occurred yet, it will not have any effect on whether the engine cranks.

The car should crank. Hopefully you are talking about needing an oil change as opposed to having no oil and a seized engine. The engine will still run if the battery is charged and the starting circuits are working.
