Common problems are a noisy belt, the belt comes off or you hear a whine from the pulley bearing.

What all do i gotta take off to get to the timing belt on a 98 blazer

A 98 blazer has a timing chain. You will need to remove the alternator, a/c compressor, the brackets for both of those, and finally the water pump. Once all of that is out of the way you will need to remove the crank pulley. You will then be able to remove the timing cover and access the timing chain. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

My belt on my 98 galnt is makeing a a loud noise my pulles look fine but my motor mounts are out do you think because of my mounts the blets are off tune ?

One of your pulleys most likely the idler pulley is shot, the noise is the bearing going bad in it after so many years.

Drive pulley spins and slides forward and back to motorwhich in turn throws belt off so what i need to know is how to replace drive pulley or if it is repairable with a lock key

Which pulley are you talking about? Is it the Idler Pulley that applies pressure to the belt? That is typically the pulley that goes bad first which can be replaced. The bearing will go bad and won't stay flat causing the belt to wander. If you get a new pulley or idler assembly replace the belt at the same time for peace of mind.

05 Trail Blazer Vortec 4200 center pulley seems to have a bad bearing behind it. Is that a pulley or idler problem or is it a water pump issue?

I have an 05 TB. I have replaced the idler pulley twice in the three years I owned it. Cheap and quick fix. Call your dealer and get the part. Problem is that the part comes with the whole bracket. Take the pulley of the new part and put it on the existing bracket already on your vehicle. 30 minute fix.
