SOURCE: service traction light comes on abs off and brake light come on on the dash

I had the same problem. I took off the tires and look at the wires, and both of the wires to the hub were broke. 10 min and some tape and problem was fixed.

SOURCE: TURN RT APPLY BRAKES ABS/TRAC OFF COMES ON

bad front bearing/abs sensor The sensor is part of the bearing,or the wires are bad so that when you steer it open circuts and thinks the wheel is stopped. need to read codes or use a scan tool with live data to see which wheel the computer thinks is stopping. then look at that wheel for problems

SOURCE: abs and traction control lights coming on

Its the abs sensor, if you encounter an ice patch or snow you won't even be able to stop because the pedal will will push back and make the rip grind noise. If you pull the ABS fuse out, you won't have ABS but you can stop and you won't have the grind noise and back pressure for now. Its safer to not have ABS when the sensor is faulty.

Possibly has a bad wheel sensor or bad bearing. It would be easiest to have a garage put a scan tool that has ABS software to better find the problem.

Will bad bearings on the tire assembly cause the abs and slip lights to come on along with loud noise

A bad bearing will allow looseness in the hub and may allow the abs sensor to become out of range of the abs reluctor ring/bearing sender which will turn on the abs light/slip light.

Have a Traction Active light on when I turn left at a slow speed.

EITHER YOU HAVE A HUB ASSEMBLY/ABS SENSOR FAILING IN THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL. THE IMPALA'S ARE REALLY BAD ABOUT CUTTING/TEARING WIRES THAT RUN TO THE ABS SENSOR. PULL THE WHEEL OFF AND CHECK YOUR WIRING TO THE SENSOR IF IT LOOKS GOOD THEN YOU WILL NEED A NEW SENSOR/HUB ASSEMLY.

ABS light comes on sometimes. Hear rubbing noise coming from the rear of my 2007 F-150 when accelerating from a dead stop.

Abs is your break system, have rear breaks checked. Might be time for new brake shoes on rear of truck. Les swab tires will inspect for free, and lots of other automotive and tire outfits. You want to jump on this soon, so not to end up going past brake shoes and then will ending up having to buy other parts, drums etc...please let me know if my trouble shooting was right. Thanks mike

1999 jeep grand cherokee abs light has come on.what to do?

actually it could be something as simple as low on brake fluid. check this and then check to make sure you do not have worn brake pads on the tires this can also set a code when one tire stops quicker than the other

My ABS light keeps coming on and off. Sometimes its rough pushing the brake down and it makes a wierd noise.

Sounds like one of the sensors at the tires is not working right. Its actually better if the light stays on. With it turning on and off will make it harder for you to stop cause the computer does not know what to do. Check brake fulid level. If it stays on you will have normal brakes. Have the sensors checked or replaced. ABS was design for panic stops so you don't lock up the tires an skid.
