Question about Chevrolet Equinox
It's possible that an air bubble may be trapped in the cooling system. Did you allow the coolant to run low at any time? If the radiator has a cap, try ramping the front wheels and running the engine with the radiator cap off. This should allow the trapped bubbles to escape. Add coolant as needed.
