Sounds like it could be the blend door motor that has failed or the blend door itself is stuck or broken. If you have manual A/C controls it could also be the potentiometer(the switch that controls the heat) or if you have EATC it might be the complete head unit that needs to be replaced. More than likely it is the blend door motor that needs replacing so that would be where I'd start testing first.

2003 ford expedition air condition works fine hot air doesnt work

If both heater hoses are getting hot, it could be a blend door problem under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

I have a 2001 expedition and the front vents blow hot air with ac on.back vents blow cold so i know its charged and compressor works.what can it be?

Check the blend doors found deep in the air duct underneath the dashboard. There may be loose linkages or the motor may not be working.

My 2004 expedition When you put it on cool vent

This sounds like a blend door or actuator problem. Testing this is a pain and the repair may envolve removing the dash board and center console. I strongly recommend taking the vehicle to a repair shop. This one is beyond the DIYer especially if your pressed for time.

Have a 2000 ford expedition and the ac in the front blows hot but the rear ac works fine. what could it be

Listen and see if the vent flap is moving from the hot position, to the cold position. If that's working then the evaporator may be clogged. It sits inside the same box that the heater core is inside of and if it becomes clogged with hair or dust, then it wont allow the blower to blow through it. But it would then bring hot air through the vents because the heater core is there too.
