Yeah!... it's getting it PROPERLY DIAGNOSED! Your dirvability issue doesn't reveal anything to which I (or anyone) could respond. Get the vehicle properly 'DIAGNOSED' at a dealership with qualified diagnogsticians (technicians). No way to know unless you get this done...

Where the cam sensor is located in hyundai santa fe 2001

If it is the 2.4 (4cyl) or 3.5 (6cyl) it is behind the timing belt. If it is a 2.7 (6cyl) it is located on the engine near the bellhousing, bank two side (side facing radiator)

2003 Santa Fe has a humming/buzzing sound that can be heard with the windows down. You will only hear it above 40 mph. The sound will go away below 40. Any idea's.

Tough one; Is there a roof rack on that car? The cross members could cause that, they're removable. Try that. If it were tire noise you'd hear them with the windows up even louder. If not the roof rack look for loose moldings esp around the windows.

Is it hard to change crank shaft position on hyundai santa fe 01

2.7 engine located above the starter. You need to remove the starter outherwise its fairly easy.
The 2.4 & 3.5 engine, its located in the front next to the timing belt, a little more complicated to to install.
