CONTACT A MACK DEALER

check for a wiring short circuit or broken from the clutch switch to the brake wires
take it to a service dealer or auto electrician for diagnosis
remember there are slight differences between Jacob brakes and the Mack dyna brakes

replace either the solenoid for the air valve or the air valve as you are still getting air pressure to the clutch
While that may not seem important, it is to be considered that if the clutch is not getting full air pressure to keep fully engaged, it will slip at any thing less and that will burn out the clutch facings in the long run
there are manuals for horton fan clutches so go google and type in --workshop manual for horton fan clutch ( model)---and see if there is a pdf version for down load

Hello Mack, Most likely the 3-4 Clutch Pack is burned out.

If you haven't removed the wires yet don't. The best way to replace ignition wires is to remove ONE at a time and replace with a new one before moving on to the next. That way you won't get the firing order mixed up. Hope this helps

It\'s the same for all CH models and then some ,do you have the old one out ? I will look for you, I have done a lot of them ,I\'m going to ask a few questions so bear with me , ok ? ,do you have a pilot shaft or can borrow one ? for aling clutch ,and a big tranny jack , did you remove or have motor out or are you just removing tranny. ? it\'s all just really heavy it\'s a 2 person job no dough, but for the most part same as a car or truck, OTC makes a clutch installing tool to hold the two clutch plates and two pressure plates , hard part is putting throw out bearing in and holding clutch lever all the way back so it can fall in and don\'t forget to put clutch brake on shaft, if using 1 piece unit, aftermarket ones break down to easy (crap) but you can put it in after an adjust it when adjusting clutch for first time .hope this gets you going ,get back to me and I\'ll do my best to get info for you or a place for you to get it hope this helped .

ALSO EASY TO WORK IF BROCKEN
IF CABLE IS BROCKEN WOULD MAKE IT HARD TO SHIFT FIRST OR
REVERSE INITIALLY---- LOOKING AT RELESE BEARING COULD VOUCH FOR CABLE
CLUTCH IF WORN OUT WOULD SLIP UNDER HARD ACCELARATION AND WOULD
HAVE A BURNING SMELL TO IT (MUCH LIKE OVERHEATED BRAKES)

check your pully alighnment look down the sides the frontof the pulleys should be in line if they are check for a bad bearig on all of atachments if all ok the belt may have jumped on one of them causing the belt to cut .
