2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins 4x4 SLT Long Bed (all stock except for chip) - The issue is "Death Wobbles", if you don't know what that is go look it up before answering the question. When I am driving along at speeds of 40+ and hit a good sized bump, the truck goes into the death wobbles. The entire truck starts shaking more violently then anything you've ever been in, steering control is lost, and it must be brought almost to a stop for it to go away. We have gone out and purposely hit a bump on the highway so we could get a live video of it. There are points when wheels are completely off the ground and the truck looks to be running like an animal instead of rolling. What I've done: New shocks, coil springs, tie rod and ends, balanced tires numerous times, new tires, new beefier steering damper, alignment is perfect and tight, no play in the steering. Has anyone come across this issue and found a resolution yet?!?!?!

I had the same issue in my dodge, the steering box itself was shot, everything else was in good shape. check for any signs of wear or play and look into one of the aftermarket brackets to eliminate it from happening again.

I forgot to put that in the issue earlier. I've replaced the steering box 3 times on my truck already, dealer said that was the issue. Keeps happening though. I've been reading about the support brackets and I will look into that.

It is honestly the only thing you can do to prevent it, I got mine for less than three hundred bucks and it was money well spent.

I'll give it a try, $216 from BD Diesel. Looks legit. I'm just pissed that I've had all these damn issues and Dodge doesn't have to do anything about it because they declared bankruptcy a few years back and nullified all warranty responsibility. Such BS Dodge!

I put 2014 rims on my 2010. Tire pressure issues. screen on the dash is showing psi's blank. how do I reset? I assume these 2014 rims would have stock sensors in them, and there basically brand new.

Some Chrysler ,Jeep and Dodge vehicles have ttye pressure sensors calibrated to the vevicle,so therefore if you change the
tyres to a different type you will need to take your vehicle to a C.J.D.
service department to have the computer of your car re-programmed to accept the new tyres
