Question about Kia Rio
To install an antenna you need to remove the old one first. There is a 10mm bolt you will need to remove at the base of the antenna. Now there is a little boot that will be a pickle to get out but it needs to come out to make room for the antenna to come out. Now inside the trunk will be the assembly. Depending on how much of the assembly you are replacing will depend on how in depth you go. The antenna itself removes with ease by removing another bolt inside the assembly. Slide the antenna up and out through the hole and reverse the procedure to install. That rubber boot throws some people off because the antenna won't budge with it there.
