My fuel light is not coming on when my gas is low in a 1999 Nissan Sentra also the fuse for the fuel light is not labeled on the panel. how can I identify and check fuse what other things do I need to...

The light gets power from the gauges circuit. And it gets a ground signal from the gas gauge circuit. So if the gas gauge works, the problem could be inside the cluster or the bulb could be faulty.

How do i know i have a bad float in dual tanks?

Of readings are inconsistent with known fuel levels, Ground (or connect to a tester light) the sender unit wire and watch if the gauge rises.

Low fuel light

If your model has a low fuel warning light, it would be a symbol of a gas pump and be near the gas gauge. The light is connected to the fuel gauge sending unit in the tank.

Fuel gauge warning light does not come on

bad connection! I don't think there is a fuse for that, but it's a good idea to pull all fuses one at a time and check them all.
(Most often, it's a fuse that also powers something else....lighter, dome light, dash, etc. )

Our 1998 gm safari said check gauge and the engine won't start,We thought it was the gas so I went to the gas station and got gas. I was wondering what does that mean?

check gauges means that the car senses something is not working properly, such as temp gauge reading to hot ,or oil pressure reading to low ,fuel to low, its to get your attention that something is wrong .

Fuel gauge does not move, stays on E, after car starts. Low fuel light is not coming on.

Hello graytape, was the fuel gauge and low fuel light working and then one day just stopped working?, if so, you have probably blown a fuse and you should be able to locate what fuse and where it's located in the owner's manual.
If you recently got the vehicle and then you found out that the gas gauge and low fuel light doesn't work then that is something completely different.
without knowing the year of the vehicle I can only give you an educated guess.
Many vehicles have a float in the gas tank and this float is directly linked to what you see on the gas gauge. However, after a number of years the floats get saturated from the fuel and become heavy, heavy enough to where they don't float anymore. That is one of the most common causes of the fuel gauge not working.
The sensor that activates the low fuel warning light may be independent of the fuel gauge and the fuel in the tank isn't low enough to turn it on. Your tank has to be very low to activate the low fuel warning light.
Good luck!

Gas gauge malfunction and engine light stays on

This is a common problem with Malibu's. It is due to cheap metal in the fuel gage that corrodes. Chevrolet knows about this but they refuse to issue a fix. The check engine light staying on and the faulty fuel gage are related. This is a defect and they need to recall this part! Raise hell with the dealership!

Dashboard Lights - "brake lamp" light stays lit/ dashboard bulb for gas gauge burned out

you can remove the cluster and buy the bulb separate as far as the brake light it is either the float is bad in the master cyl. or you have low frt brake pads
