I collect owners manuals courtesy for my customers because they are hard to find for the older cars. I can't believe it and wasn't going to even look because you said saab and they are like impossible to locate. Anyhow, I have both of the owners manuals that you are looking for. I will be happy to email you copy's (don't worry free of charge) but they are larger then I have sent before. One is I think 12 MB and the other is 17 MB so will need to figure out how to do it. If you want them I will try. Just email me at csautomotivecars@att.net and remind me of the make, model and years you are looking for and I will see what I can do. My office manager is pretty good at stuff like that and think she can figure it out. Must be your lucky day......

How do u disable daytime running lights for Saab 9-3 2005

On older SAABs is was as easy as pulling fuse #14. On newer Saabs it required a trip to the dealership and a Tech2 machine to disable DRL for around 1 hour of shop time. Some dealers will not perform this task as they say it is part of the passive safety system.

My Saab 9-5 2002 Areo has a radio Code message on the display.

You may have to have it reset with a Tech 2.

Some older Saabs don't actually have a radio code, but displays that message when the battery has been disconnected.

if you did have a radio code, you or the Prior Owner may have written it in the owner's audio manual.

There also may be one stamped on the side of the radio. You'd need to pull it to see.

I'm leaning towards Tech 2 reset due to the age of your vehicle.

My ignition switch won't turn on my 2007 Saab 9-3 . Steering wheel turns .key fob won't turn ignition switch.

Is it a manual transmission? I know some of the older
Saabs need the transmission in reverse to get the key out. Try wiggling the shifter and see if it helps with turning the key.

Really need owners manual

It depends on your year--make--model? There are online sites where you may be able to look at owners manual online for free.

You may be able to purchase owners manual, from the vehicle manufacturer or online at ebay?

Just type year--make--model plus owners manual in your computer search box. See what comes up. The older the vehicle, the harder it may be to find?

How hard to change a wheel bearing, or bearings on front left of vehicle? Do they have to be pressed on or off?

I'll try to help, but not real familiar with Saabs. Front wheel bearings on FWD cars are not too bad, if you are mechanically inclined, and have the proper tools (sockets, wrenches, a breaker bar and large socket for the axle nut). The bearings very likely are pressed into the hub, but if you can take it off and take it to a garage or shop to have new ones put in, it will save you lots of money. I would suggest a repair manual for your car, libraries also usually have an extensive number of repair manuals. Possibly even better, though, is to google Saabs and find a forum site for Saab enthusiasts (there are likely very many of them-Saab owners are usually very "car crazy" and like to help others with repairs and maintenance issues. Good luck. (Oh yes, don't forget a good set of jack stands. Don't depend on a jack while you work on it. Be safe!)
