Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. This may be your security system going off. If it is, it can cause the car to not start. It may need reset. Refer to your owner manual for directions as each car has a different code. If you can't find it, you may need to call the dealership. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for using FixYa.

My Buick Lasabre want start the scerity light stays on

Assuming the light is not flashing, you probably have a bad decoder module and that will require a new, unused module to resolve it.If it's flashing it could be a key or key sensor issue.

I have a 1995 Buick LeSabre that won't start. I have a new battery and a working alternator. The lights work fine, outside and inside. When I turn the key, nothing happens. I have checked the fuses and...

This is related to GM's VATS security system. It treats sudden loss of power as an attempt to steal the car. To reset the system, do the following: courtesy of ***** Master ASE Technician

  • Use your key fob (if equipped) or key to unlock the doors.
  • Turn the key to the start position and release it
  • Leave key in the ON position for 10 minutes.(the security light should go out at this time
  • Turn the key to the OFF position for 10 seconds
Repeat this process 2 more times. At the conclusion, your security light should be out and you should be able to start the car.

Does my 1995 buick lesabre limited have abs brakes? this car is loaded to the gill's,

The easy way to tell is when you turn the key to start the vehicle the vehicle goes through a bulb check. If there is a light that says anti lock on the instrument cluster, you have ABS brakes.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1995 Buick LeSabre Where is the flasher fuse for

the turn signal/ hazard flasher is located midway down your steering colum but not all the way near the knuckle mounted on the inside of the cowl above the drivers feet. should either be a 323 or a 525 part number flasher, you could always upgrade to a electronic flasher instead of a thermal flasher. part number should be el12. all these products are made by wagner.

1995 Buick Lesabre: security blinks and car will not start

If the starter is turning the engine, try re-setting the security system (leave key on till light stops blinking.) If the starter does not turn, you may have some success in re-setting system, if not you need to check battery voltage and voltages in starter system till you find the problem...can be something as simple as a bad connection at the battery. If you need help with further testing, just ask.
