Have you used a voltmeter to check the new control panel output? If there is no power to the drivers window, then the switching in the control panel may be defective. If there is output, then it should be getting to the window motor, and it should work unless it is defective, or possibly not grounded.

Probably is only one fuse, just check all the fuses in the fuse box. Check for broken wire in the door jam, but you may need new window motor or new control switch on the armrest. Is there any noise from the door when you push the buttons? If you hear the motor running, then you need that track that pushes the window up and down.

Try a passenger side door switch or a new complete master switch on drivers door. Alaways check fuses also.

Should check all fuses and relays...Including those stored in the fuse panel under the hood. If they are all good, then there is most likely a problem with the power accuator motor / Window Lift Motor or the power control switch inside the drivers door.

To answer your continued portion of your question? Most of todays cars offer the driver the option to open and close all windows from the drivers control panel... Although the first part of your question seems to make that statement null. In other words, you should check your fuses first. before deciding that you need new switched or lift motors for both doors...

This could very well be a fuse problem

Actually I'd be curious to learn if any new features were recently added to the vehicle. such as a stereo, speakers, cd player or an amplifier etc... Since the installer may have not so much tapped into the wrong power feed, in as much as perhaps caused a knick or break in your other wires... Of course this may not be the case at all in the event no such items were recently installed.

NOTE: The power rear window motor is not on the multiplex link. Any diagnosis and testing carried out on the power rear window will not involve the GEM module. NOTE: The reinitialization procedure must be carried out when repairs are performed on any part of the power rear window system including when the power rear window motor is removed from the window regulator drum housing, a new power rear motor is installed, a new power rear window regulator is installed, a new power rear window module is installed, and any operation in which grease or lubricants are applied to the power rear window system.

Rear Window Motor Initialization CAUTION: Make sure that no obstructions are present in the power rear window system when carrying out this procedure.
NOTE: This procedure must be carried out when repairs are performed on any part of the power rear window system including when: the power rear window motor is removed from the window regulator drum housing, a new power rear motor is installed, a new power rear window regulator is installed, a new power rear window module is installed, and any operation in which grease or lubricants are applied to the power rear window system.
NOTE: All power rear window components (window glass module, window regulator, window motor, and glass runs) must be installed and torqued to specification before carrying out this procedure.
NOTE: Steps 1-6 must be completed within 30 seconds. The entire procedure must be completed within five minutes.
NOTE: Once the ignition key is turned to the ON position in Step 6, it must remain on until the entire procedure is completed.
NOTE: Steps 7 and 9 require that the power rear window control switch be held in the closed position until the power rear window motor stalls the window in the upper header seal. Step 8 requires that the window control switch be momentarily turned to the open position.

1. Start with the ignition in the OFF position.

1. Momentarily rotate the power rear window control switch to the open position and release. The power rear window will carry out a one-touch down operation until the window stalls at the bottom of the travel stop designed into the window regulator.

1. Rotate and hold the power rear window control switch to the closed position until the window stalls into the upper header seal. Once this operation is complete, the window will move up-down-up-down approximately 20 mm (0.8 in). This movement indicates that the power rear window motor has been successfully initialized.

1. Verify correct operation of the power rear window by moving the window to the fully open, vent, then fully closed positions

Check for power at the window control switch. If a-ok. Then check the relay. If everything is a-ok you basically need a new switch/ controller aka switch.

A friend had the same problem. He drove to the dealer service shop and they reset the windows by pressing the control button up and holding in down for like a minute. Then he made the window go down and he held the button down for about a minute. It was repeated until the button controlled the window correctly. Each window was reprogrammed along with the sunroof. TRY THE WINDOW LOCK SWITCH ON THE MASTER CONTROL AND SEE IF OTHER CONTROLS WORK.
THE SWITCH IS NOT SERVICABLE REPLACED AS A UNIT.
