It could be the coil or the main relay. The main relay is located on the driverside, up towards the windsheild above the kick panel and looks like this;

It may be the cause to the problem based on what info you have provided.

Seems like its always the ignitor. some older ones were really bad for the main relay. if they age and take a daily beating on a rough road, especially. hard to get at. stink like burnt. repairable though. theres photos and videos on the internet to show you how to build up the connections inside, should you decide the insane prices are too high

Are you sure that there is no spark, have you checked with a timing light? Are the wires on the coil connected correctly? Is the ignition module plugged in correctly and are all the wires on the distributor tight and correctly located? Try another ignition module from a system that is known to be working.

Could very well be the main relay, limiting power to all the electronics in your car, causing the problems you've mentioned. Have it repaired or replaced.

Do not hotwire the "-" terminal on the coil. The ignition system modulates the "-" signal to release the sparks. Check the ignition fuse under the dashboard. If good, use a test light at the coil to check for voltage at the coil. If you don't have a test light, you can buy one at a parts store for a few dollars. Connect the test light clamp to engine ground and touch the point to the "+" terminal of the coil. If no voltage, suspect the ignition switch is bad. If there is voltage at the coil, suspect the ignition module is bad. If you have more questions, please let us know.

91 honda accord ran out of gas now no spark

Check the ignitor, Honda uses a couple of different distributors, my 92 has the ignitor inside the distributor cap, w/ 4 wires attached (push on type). Pull off the wires (note where they all go) and remove one screw to remove ignitor (it's been a while since I changed it, there might be 2 screws, but it would be easy to see). If it's bad, you will have no spark. If this doesn't help, let me know, I'll try to help further.

My 92 accord turns but have no spark

It likely has a bad igniter in the distributor. It is the same as an ignition module, but Honda calls it an igniter.

1995 Honda Accord will not start

First you must check to see what missing. You must have spark at the pugs and gas at the injector for this car to start. See whats missing and get back to me. The 1995 Honda Accord has a history of bad distributor. If there is no spark at the spark plugs replace distributor. However on some models the coil is separate and not in the distributor, if so make sure the coil is working.

92 honda accord intermittent crank but no start/ tranny issues

I know that early 90's Honda's had problems and in fact a recall on the distributor. Might want to replace the distributor. Inside of the distributor is a part called the igniter which is the ignition module and that is what normally goes out. I cannot remember if you have to replace the whole distributor to get the igniter or if you can just replace the igniter itself. Has been a few years since I have worked on one. hope this helps but if not please contact me. I'm not sure about the drive light flashing thing though, new one on me.
