P0495 "Cooling Fan High Speed' = the fan clutch has failed, time for a replacement. This is unrelated to the water pump problem and it's a well know problem in 2003-2008 Trailblazers. Be sure to only use the new , modified part - number 15293048. Any other part number will only be replacing the bad part with another potential bad part.
P2119 Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range Performance = the throttle box is severely dirty or gummed up or even defective and it will have to be fully cleaned or replaced. This is usually caused by impure gases from the evap system so check it also. Also check for a faulty throttle body actuator or sensor or a faulty pedal sensor.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

How to replace water pump

04 Trailblazer
what engine cars come with many engine options.
my chev had 4.
nobody can guess this, its Impossible. you just look.
if totally clueless just looking, the in USA> open the hood
then , look up, see that EPA sticker under hood,?
that has the engine spec, what it is.
like
4.3L, VIN X, 8th Digit, the VIN on all USA cars show which engine too but takes time to look up. better is read the hood.
1second test and BAM> my engine is a bla bla.

its ok ,99% ask here how to fix engines they can not identify.
and FAIL big time..
the fsm covers ALL this even the vin decode, on all cars.
and allata.com too. login and look. like us.

I now taught you how to fish. no free fish.

P0495 & p0128

I am thinking you are on the right track. A noisy, wobbly fan has to be replaced and replacing the thermostat could reduce the fan speed as the problems are interrelated.

The first one shows the engine running more that 34 % rich.
check engine compression.
check spark
check fuel pressure.
all 3 are ok, check for leaking injectors or clogged.

Received code P1400 engine light on what would cause this code?

GMC Truck Envoy - 2WD ' Envoy, Rainier, TrailBlazer, Ascender (VIN S/T) Service Manual ' Document ID: 1655997

DTC P1400
Diagnostic Instructions
• Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
• Review Strategy Based Diagnosis for an overview of the diagnostic approach.
• Diagnostic Procedure Instructions provides an overview of each diagnostic category.

DTC Descriptor:
DTC P1400: Cold Start Emission Reduction Control System

Circuit/System Description
The catalytic converter must be warmed to efficiently reduce the emissions. The cold start strategy is to reduce the amount of time it takes to warm the catalytic converter. During a cold start, the engine idle speed is elevated and spark timing is retarded to allow the catalyst to warm quickly. This diagnostic monitors the following to build an exhaust energy model:

• Engine speed
• Spark advance
• Throttle position
• Engine airflow
• Engine coolant temperature
• Engine runtime
• Park/neutral position
• Vehicle speed

The actual model is then compared to the expected exhaust energy model.

Conditions for Running the DTC
• A cold start has been detected.
• The vehicle speed is less than 2 km/h.
• The engine is at idle with no input from the accelerator pedal.
• The airflow per cylinder is greater than 80 mg/cylinder.
• DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0112, P0113, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0120, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0220, P0222, P0223, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0300, P0335, P0336, P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0356, P0502, P0506, P0507, P0601, P0602, P0603, P0604, P0606, P0607, P062F, P0641, P0651, P1101, P1516, P1682, P2101, P2119, P2120, P2122, P2123, P2125, P2127, P2128, P2135, P2138, P2176, P2610 are not set.
• This DTC runs for 15 seconds within the first 70 seconds of start up. This diagnostic runs once per trip when a cold start has been determined.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
The actual exhaust energy model does not match the expected exhaust energy model.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• The control module illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) when the diagnostic runs and fails.
• The control module records the operating conditions at the time the diagnostic fails. The control module stores this information in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC
• The control module turns OFF the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) after 3 consecutive ignition cycles that the diagnostic runs and does not fail.
• A current DTC, Last Test Failed, clears when the diagnostic runs and passes.
• A history DTC clears after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles, if no failures are reported by this or any other emission related diagnostic.
• Clear the MIL and the DTC with a scan tool.

Diagnostic Aids
Any loading of the engine that lowers engine RPM, such as with partial application of the clutch, during the first 70 seconds of engine run time may set this DTC.
Circuit/System Verification
Allow the engine to cool. Monitor the Cold Startup parameter. This should indicate Yes. Start and idle the engine for at least 2 minutes. DTC P1400 should run and pass.

Circuit/System Testing
• Inspect the air intake system for the following:
- If any other DTCs are set, diagnose them first. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.
- Modified, damaged, or restricted
- Dirty or deteriorating air filter element
- Crankcase ventilation system for correct operation--Refer to Crankcase Ventilation System Inspection/Description.
- Water intrusion
- Vacuum leak and other un-metered air downstream of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor
- Intake manifold leak

• Inspect the exhaust system for the following:
- Water intrusion
- Exhaust leak
- Damaged, restricted, modified or enhanced exhaust system--Refer to Symptoms - Engine Exhaust .

I have a service engine soon light and the code that appeared when check is 1481, do you know what this means?

Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine Light On, DTC P0480, P0526/P1481/P1484 Set (Replace Engine Cooling Fan Wiring Harness) #05-06-02-012B - (10/19/2006)

Models:2004-2006 Buick Rainier
2002-2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT
2002-2006 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL,

Some customers may comment that the Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine light is illuminated. This condition may be intermittent and upon investigation, the technician may find either DTC P0480, P0526, P1481 or P1484 set.

This condition may be caused by the cooling fan harness chaffing against the plastic guide it routes through. This contact may damage the insulation of the wires enclosed in that harness.

Replace the wire harness:
Part Number 89024920 Description Harness Assembly, Engine Cooling Fan Wiring

Good luck and keep me posed.
