Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan
Dodge has had problems with the insturment cluster on these. And you have all of the clasic symptoms. You need to remove the cluster from the van, its not that hard, pop off the trim and some screws. Unplug the wiring from the back of it and take the whole thing out. On the very back of the cluster directly behind where the wires plug in you will see the soldered connections. They crack around these and cause a bad connection. Look VERY close at them and the ones that are cracked, resolder them and your problem will go away.
