Cliplight Manufacturing sells a product called "Super Seal Pro A/C Leak Repair Kit". It is about $30. It seems to get mixed reviews. Otherwise you will need to replace the part. I think you were referring the evaporator. This is not something you can do without the right equipment and knowledge. Once the part is installed the system would need to be evacuated (suctioned to create a vacuum in the system) this needs to be done to remove any moisture in the sealed system, then re-charged with Freon. The exact amount of Freon differs for each model of car. Over filling or under filling can cause issues. I hope this helps. God Bless.

I have a Nissan navara the a/c has stop working

The most common cause of this is that the AC system has a leak and has lost its charge of refrigerant. You will need to have a vacuum pump attached and pull a vacuum on the system and see if it leaks down, if it does you have a leak, common areas of AC leaks are the AC compressor front seal (install rebuilt) condenser leaks and leaks at the AC line seals.

What is causing water to leak down onto the floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 when I have AC on?

this will be condensate from the fins of the ac evaporator in the car and is leaking onto the floor because the drain on the unit is blocked either in the hose or at the bottom of the ac box

Gas smell in cab and high pitch sound while driving

A gas smell is dangerous It could be a leak in the line under the car or the filter connection. If it is by the engine it is under much higher pressure than under the car Even a small leak under the hood will vaporise and vapor is 1oo% worse than liquid. It could cause an explosion under the hood. I would have some one look at it before you drive to the dealer if they find a leak have it towed. Is it hard to start right after you shut it off like when you stop for gas? If it is it could be your injectors are leaking when you shut off the key and all that gas in the engine makes it hard to start if that is it you can drive it to the repair shop and have the bad injectors replaced. As far as the noise it is hard to tell from the description your brakes could be worn out and the warning tab on the pad is rubbing on the rotor. The alternator bearing could be out of grease and making noise. The belt on the engine is slipping. Bad belt or tensioner weak Hope this helps if it does could you rate this

Can I top up dot 3 brake fluid with a little dot 4?

yes no problem the only difference is the temperature range ,one is spec J1703 and the other is spec j1704 ,its the resistance to high temperature vaporisation but the actual fluid is the same just a bit more additive thats all .

My 2000 nissan altima engine runs a few seconds when turned off!

It's called dieseling. Happens when your car is running too rich with fuel. Unburned vaporised fuel is left over in the system when you turn it off and it keeps burning until it's gone. Your fuel mixture needs to be leaner. It could be caused by a number of different things. Might be a vacuum leak, faulty oxygen sensor, problem with fuel injection system, etc. It needs a good mechanic with a diagnosis computer to isolate the problem.

Leak in brake hydraulic system in the tubes running from what I think is a valve cluster connected mater cylinder

Dear estallings1,

The best thing you can do with reguards to this problem is replace any leaking parts asap. The reason for this in not only wil it let in air to the system and do more dammage in other areas but brake fluid is also hydroscopic. This means that the longer it is in contact with air the more moisture it will absorb causing the boiling point of the fluid to lower. When the boiling point lowers and the fluid comes into contact with a hot surface eg. calliper piston, it will vaporise and you may lose a whole section of your braking curcuit.

Therefore you need to replace all leaking parts and flush new brake fluid through the lines, also taking care to bleed. Once you have completed this the brakes will be as good as new.

If you are unfamiliar with working with brakes it would be a good idea to gain assistance from a mechanic as it is a job that usualy requires a certain level of knowledge of bleeding processes etc.

Leaking heater core

did u replace the heater hoses as well. When u run your ac an idle up valve raises your rpms slightly whitch will pump more coolant. Other than that they should have nothing to do with one another.

Most probable leak place would be the condensor or the lines.
