Question about 2005 Kia Sportage
The A/C system can have many problems first check at the compressor. look to see if when the air is on that the clutch on the compressor is spinning. if it is not try adding some refrigerant to the low side inlet. i would use the kind with the dye in it. if the system is completely empty you may need to put two cans in just to get the compressor to kick on. if you have two cans in and the compressor clutch is not spinning then you compressor is shot and will need to be replaced. if it is spinning it should be blowing cold. look for leaks in the lines leaks will be identified by the dye glowing usually green if no leaks are found you may have just lost refrigerant from normal usage. if that is the case add another can to top it off and enjoy. hope this helps
