Question about Ford Ranger
If you don`t hear the a/c compressor cycling properly (or not at all) not constantly on/off/on then the freon level may be low in the system.if it cycles as mentioned above then again the system is low on freon,due to a leak in the system.it could be a bad pressure switch that may need to be replaced.you need to have the system checked at a qaulified shop to find the problem as dash switches rarely go bad.
