Both, it has an On Board Diagnostic computer, or OBD-II. For giving problem codes. But as far as in tune up wise, only has one for the oil.

The 30,000 mile maintenance is preventative, Besides oil, other fluids such as transmission, brakes, etc. are changed. Mechanical systems are checked to make sure that they are not faulty or overly worn and still within specifications. All this is for your safety.
