There is no fuse that you can remove to turn off the air bag light, you will have to have the codes cleared in order for the light to turn off.

I have a 94 toyota celica st that had airbags deployed before and had a wire fire now the wiring is fixed and now it won't start and shows a airbag light that stays on..

Apparently it wasn't fixed exactly correctly? I would take it back, and have them check it out, it all should be under warranty, hopefully?

Airbag light goes on checked all fuses are not

SRS SYSTEM HAS A FAULT , THIS COULD MEAN MANY THING
INPORANT TO KNOW SRS DOES A SELF CHECK EVERYTIME YOU START YOU VEHICLE , THIS LETS YOU KNOW IF THE SYSTEM IS WORKING OR NOT.

IT LOOKS AS IF YOU HAVE A FAULT WITH A PART OF THE SRS CIRCUIT.
PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FIX , COULD BE DANGEROUS!!!
YOU NEED TO TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL DEALER.
THEY WILL SCAN SYSTEM.
AFTERMARKET GARAGES DONT HAVE AXCESS TO THE SRS SYSTEM.
THERE COULD BE A SHORT OR OPEN IN CIRCUIT.
I HOPE THIS HELPS

Re:Toyota Highlander 2004 The passenger side airbag "deactivated" light is on but not the SRS warning light. Any suggestons? Thanks

make sure it was not turned off, some models come with a key switch, but i think something is wrong with that side,it may be the belt buckle of the seat sensor, the computer knows when someone is sitting in that seat, the best thing to do is take it to the shop and have the airbag system scanned for any codes (problems).the on and off lights are the only one that should be lit. hope this helps.

I bought a used 1991 Toyota celica, there were no remotes. I'd like to diconect this system, but don't know how. can anyone help me. my email address is wc1235@hotmail.com

Hello. Look under the driver's seat. There should be, if this is a factory system, a black box, and a couple wiring harnesses.

Disconnect, and remove the black box, and remove all of the wires that run from the box to the connections under the instrument panel.

The wiring harness is desigend to 'go between' the factory connectors. Remove the harness, and simply refit the connectors.

Just removing the black box will NOT allow the car to start; you have to remove the wiring harnesses also.

I hope this helps you out.

The fuse for my rear tail lights keeps blowing out everytime I put a new one in . What's the problem?

You have a short, the voltage is going to ground instead of to the lights.look for a broken hot wire for the tail lights.
