I have lost my answer ,anyway do it again right english lessons ,CATALYTIC CONVERTER ,now it come loose and its been re-fitted and now the engine isnt running right ,first suggestion is to return it to the garage that put it back on for you as my first suspicion is that they havent connected the O2 sensor wires but without a look myself i honestly couldnt say ,now second english lesson aluminium is how its spelt and not pronunced allumaninhum and tomatoe is tomatoe and not pronunced thomattoue .All wind up aside i honestly cannot say what could be wrong with your vehicle without a good look as its possible that when cat came loose it broke the wires and the mechanic has put them back wrong or a vacumn pipe has been pulled off when reaching up from underneath.

Please help me!!!! My van takes spells where it won't run right. It dies in drive, won't take reverse.

If it dies right when you put it in gear. It would be the valve body or the torque converter lock up solenoid sticking. These can be checked and replaced with out pulling the transmission. The codes have to be read, Since it is intermittent, you have to use a scanner to look at history codes.

Sebring 2007 shakes on uphill and reverse

Sounds like a Transmission Torque Converter Clutch
Try driving uphill with 1 foot on gas then tap the brakes at same time with other foot..
IF Engine does NOT rev up, the clutch is bad.

Check your fuel pressure it should be 60-66 psi with key on engine off.If its not within these specs then replace the fuel pump and filter.Sounds like the pump might be weak.

2002 explorer suddenly won`t pull and won`t go over 2400 revs also making a different engine noise as if sucking too much or too little air. Have checked the fuel filter is OK. Idles OK as well.

Sounds as if your catalytic converters are plugged up. It's not a cheap repair, if you do it right. You have to replace the 'H' pipe, which contains the converters. That pipe may set you back 5 or 6 hundred bucks!
An emergency fix (though not legal) is to remove the existing pipe and with a long steel rod, bust out the guts of the converters. You have to shake out the contents after you bust them up so it's necessary to have the pipe off the car.
If you want to test and make sure that this is the problem, you can disconect the pipes from the exhaust pipes coming down from the engine without removing them from the car. Start the engine and try to rev it up, without the converters connected. If it revs like a 'racecar', you have probably found your problem. Good luck! Dave
