SOURCE: $660 to replace O2 sensor 2006 civic hybrid?

THEY ARE NOT A MATCHED PAIR BUT THEY SHOULD BE REPALCED AS A PAIR, THAT IS NEVER ONE NEW AND ONE OLD SENSOR. A GOOD QUALITY SENSOR IS AROUND $60, THE MAKER IS NIPPONDENSO, DO NOT SE SO CALLED UNIVERSAL SENSORS.

Where is the 02 Oxygen Sensor before the cadalic converter on a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe

Usually these are located on the exhaust manifold or just below the exhaust manifold and you should be able to see it in the engine bay. On V6 engines there will be one sensor on each of the 2 exhaust banks.
You will probably need to remove the engine cover to see the sensors on your exhaust.

If someone told you to replace these because you got a particular fault code I would be wary. A decent scan tool and basic diagnostics can show if the 02 sensor is working or not. Some faults often blamed on an 02 sensor are not due to faulty sensors.

How do you know if oxgen sensors are bad on a 2008 chevy equinox....had cadillac converter replaced but check engine light still on

to know if a 02 sensor is good is with a scanner with ability of reading pcm data
if you see the data with the freeze frame
o2 sensor are rate 0volts to 1000mv
0 for lean and 1000mv for rich ... 500mv is the neutral below is lean and over 500mv is rich
it switch from rich to poor all the time but with time it will go from400mv to 650 mv poor o2 sensor
or with voltmeter backprobe at o2 sensor the voltage

Where is the temperature sensor located in the 2006 chevy equinox

Since the coolant temperature sensor is an input device for the engine control computer, and it is located somewhere on the engine, don't you think it would be prudent to mention WHICH ENGINE your 2005 (or is it 2006?) Chevrolet Equinox is equipped with?

I would be happy to help you if I knew for sure what we were talking about...

How do I change the o2 sensor

Hello, to change the O2 sensor follow this steps:

1. Set the parking brake if the engine has been run recently, let it cool for a few hours before you start.

2. Raise the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place the jack stand under your trackers frame to supports its weight. Lower the hydraulic jack and set it aside.

3. Craw under the engine on the right hand side(drivers side) near the driver's door. Locate the catalytic converter, which is mounted in-line with the exhaust pipe.

4. Locate the oxygen sensor which is mounted in the exhaust pipe near the rear of the catalytic converter.

5. Remove the wiring harness connector from the oxygen sensor by squeezing in the connector tab with your finger while simultaneously pulling the connector from the sensor.

6. Remove the sensor from the exhaust pipe by turning it out with an adjustable wrench in a counter clockwise direction.

Thanks
