Question about 1991 Eagle Talon
I believe this is the sound of a complete failure of the transmission. Expensive thing to get into to fix. If the mechanic did all the work you have receipts for and it still does not work, possibly a lawsuit would be the best recompense. If you are intent on getting the car running, take it back to the mechanic and tell him to fix the things that are broken that he claimed to fix in the first place.
