Question about 1999 Subaru Forester
Any1 who can help please do so. When i start the beast, the RPM goes upto 1500 as normal then decreases to 750 as per normal but instantly drops to 0 RPM and car cuts out. Any1 no what this could be? even my mechanic is stumped.
Turns out my airflow metre was fried. ($240 piece of plastic) Was told the cause may have been because of the air pod and long country driving. Have been advised to put the factory airbox back on unless car is used for high performance or wishing to gain maximum performance. After mounting a front cooler on, this should provide sufficient cool air to engine and turbine for every day driving.
