It sure could be. is there a humming noise coming from the pump when the car is running? you could try changing the filter since it is an easy job and cheap. when you try to start does it kind of sputter before it fails to start?

My friend has a 2007 Suzuki forenza, she ran out of gas and filled IT up now it won't start.please can somebody help.

I believe that vehicle has a tank mounted fuel pump with a sock. The fuel filter should be mounted on the driver side frame rail inside, close to the driver seat.
I suspect she either has a plugged fuel filter and / or sock. Running it out of gas allowed the system to suck the contaminants and chunks into the sock or fuel filter - most likely both. That vehicle has fuel injection, which has a high pressure fuels system. Changing the filter usually isn't too hard, but replacing that sock is very labor intensive. I recommend changing the fuel filter and see it that fixes it -but, ideally, replacement of the sock should be done too. If you decide to change the filter, I can give you better detailed instructions and warnings on the job, as it is not so labor intensive but can be dangerous if you don't take proper precautions to protect yourself from spraying gasoline.
Hope this helps!!

Do 2006 suzuki forenzas have fuel filters that need to be replaced

Fuel filter, not applicable unless you are changing the fuel pump, this is known as a strainer or fuel sock. A lot of newer cars, 2004 and up have done away with the in line fuel filters. Sugest using a fuel injector cleaner, I use Seafoam, pricey but worth it

I have a 2004 suzuki forenza it has 53000 miles on it and all of a sudden it stopped running on the freeway its acting like it is out of gas

If it acts like it's out of gas maybe it's really out of gas - the fuel pump has died or the fuel filter is clogged . Check them.

Where is the fuel filter located

It is my understanding that there isn't a fuel filter per se for Suzuki's. They are an integral part of the fuel pump located in the tank, and are not designed to be replaced. Several manufacturers are doing this, including Toyota.

While i was driving the car acted like it wasn't getting gas and then stalled and now won't start 2004 grand am

sounds like the fuel pump went out. It is located inside the tank. turn the key but dont start and have someone listen for a 1 to 2 second hum by the gas tank. If they hear nothing then your pump is bad. REplace your fuel filter first, it is outside the tank and could be clogged. YOu could get lucky, but I bet your pump is bad.

Wondering if my 2004 suzuki forenza has a seperate fuel filter, or if it is built into the fuel pump, please help? Even alldata doesn't show where it is

It does not have a separate fuel filter (it's built in). My bf was looking for his as well. Sucks because you can't change the filter yourself.
