Stop by any good parts store and have your charging system tested and your battery load tested. Most will do it free. Sounds like an alternator on it's way out or a stretched belt, but have it tested before throwing parts at it.

I've also changed the battery and alternator my

you don`t say what year and model this is. if you have a system charging at 16 volts, then you know its over charging. are you checking this with a volt meter independent of the car as the meter in the dash maybe wrong. if its over charging with an independent gage it could be the computer as it controls the ground circuit to cause the system to charge and discharge to keep the charging rate within specs. the flickering is a result of the over charging.

Sometimes the car won't start and the dash lights and the radio lights flicker

Best place to start is the positive lead on the battery . Remove the lead and clean battery pole and terminal using sand paper until you have shiny syrfaces. Replace the lead and tighten the terminal . Check the battery for charge condition as what you describe indicates a flat battery

2011 srx dashboard lights flickering

Hi Adam

You took the car to the dealer and they cant find anything? Hmmmm
Call GM customer service in Canada or USA tell them what your problem is its a 2011 tell them!!!! make sure you get customer service have your Serial number ready and they will get you to a dealer that will fix it. Make a big complaint and tell them you are going to give this car back to them just atch ans see, I fthey dont cal back again and speak to head manager trouble shooting and complaints of GM.The way they sound they cant find any problems sounds worse than that its a caddi they have dash ,cluster electrical problems you still have warranty its a year and half old :)

Your battery are okay but you may have an alternator/generator problem, it's not charging back electricity to the battery. That's the common interpretation of that battery warning light on the dash...

Turn key will not start battery is good

Make sure the connections and the cables are good.No corrosion on cables. If the lights in the dash flicker this is usually a sign that the battery is not good or it is not making good contact.Have the charging system and battery load tested.Hope this helps.Good luck.

98 accord wont start. lights flicker in dash and engine wont turn over

Have the battery checked.  You may have heard a fast clicking sound when the lights were flickering, if so it's coming from the starter solenoid.  If the battery is bad, have the voltage regulator and alternator checked also.  A bad voltage regulator or alternator will kill the new battery.

Try starting with jumper cables, if that works, you can pull the battery out, take it to a auto parts store that will test it for free (most parts stores will do this).  If it's bad, you can put a new battery in and then drive straight to somewhere to have the charging system tested.
