My brake lights on my hyundai excel are on all the time?

Check the stop lamp swith under the dash . It should contact the metal stem of the brake pedal.

if you get a hyundai bar the instructions will be with it as will most other makes , if you go non hyundai make sure it is the exact bar for your vehicle , a workshop manual will give you the wiring connection required for the brake lights etc keep me posted if you wish

Hyundai excel brake light fuse location/diagram

pull each fuse one at a time checking them to see if ones blowed and putting them back each time till you find the one thats blowed

The Fuse Box cover should have any of these labeled Stop Lights, Tail Lights, Brake Lights. Find the appropiate fuse and replace it with one with the same amperage.

The rear brake drums are drum brakes on the 94 excel. The Excel uses the front brakes the most, so are you sure you need to replace the rear brakes?

Brake lights not working when brake pedal is

Replace the brake switch located on the brake pedal shaft under your dash. Should fix your problem.

Brake pedal pushes to the ground...97 auto hyundai excel

Make sure your front brake calipers and rear wheel cyls. have no signs of brake fluid leaks, and brake pads and shoes are in good shape, if ok most likely problem is the master cyl. needs replacement.
