Do you mean stub axle ?? if so then i would take it to a local garage as it not a difficult job but it does require a few tools ,if i had seen this question yesterday i could have sent you a complete car for spares ,the big ends had gone and it wasnt worth repairing but the autobox was ok and the rest of the car customer didnt want it repaired and i had to pay the scrapyard 50 euros to come and pick it up

I have a 95 Toyota Corolla and this evening I suddenly heard a clicking sound as I accelerate and then it goes away as I accelerate

This is most likely being caused by a defective outer axle CV joint in the front wheel drive, the grease boot may be torn.

Bent rear axle on a 2006 toyota corolla

you need to google "auto recyclers" and/or "junkyards" in your area. Most of the larger ones now have searchable online inventories. You need to buy a straight rear axle out of a wrecked Toyota, and pay someone to install it. That will save you hundreds over a dealer, but it will not be cheap.

The car will have to be aligned when it is done, so have a shop do it which also does alignments.

Hi. how would i repair a rear axle for a 2006 toyota corolla? i dont have a lift so will i need to take it to an autobody shop? if so how much do these repairs cost usually?

What are going to do to repair the axle? There really is no axle on front drive cars, the wheel assembly is connected to a hub that is mounted to the frame through swing arms. And, you would not take your car to a autobody shop for mechanical work. The cost of repairs depends on what is being done.

I have a vibration on my 2002 Toyota Corolla which is causing the rear tires to wear out prematurely

It sounds like worn out wheel bearings. It could also be combined with separated treads on the tires. If you have backed into a curb and thrown the rear end out of alignment you may have to go to frame shop to correct the problem. If the rear axle is actually bent you may have to replace the axle(no way to realign a bend).

1990 toyota corolla - knocking (clattering) when turning to the left - sounds like coming from wheel, but then it sounds like it coming from middle of car -

check your cv axles, then check your wheel bearings on both axles by lifting car and shaking you tire left to right, up and down. if there is free play you need to replace front wheel bearings

2001 Toyota Corolla LE 4 door rear axle noise I believe

First thing I would do is to get a chassis lube job. Many places that do oil changes will also do a chassis lube for you at the same time. The axle bearings can get dry and do require lubrication. If left to long without a lube job, pits can form inside the bearing and will require replacement.

2003 toyota corolla axle replacement

There is a little spring loaded clip on the end of the axle in the trans. Just uses a pry bar against the trans housing and inner axle joint to pop the axle out.

Cv axle

Probably the wheel bering. If your going down the road and turn to the passenger side and it gets worse, its the drivers side bering and visa versa.

Clicking sounds

Clicking noises on turns may indicate that you have a broken constant velocity joint boot on the front axle. Check that and see if it is torn. It''s the black bellows-looking thing right behind the inner spindle. If it is torn, all of the grease has leaked out, and the clicking is the joint rattling.
