I have a 1981 ramcharger 318 4 barrel edelbrock carb. it starts fine, drives well for about 15 min but dies. dies quicker when 4 barrels kick in. about 2 min after dying it will start up fine and do it...

Those rattly noises are detonations,  caused by a very lean mixture. All the other symptoms indicate that the fuel flow to the carb is too low. Since you have replaced the pump and the filter, the only other things left to check are the lines and the tank sump. Or you could install a much larger pump.

I have an '86 ramcharger. It has rust on body and passanger door has a large dent in it. The engine take about 5 to 10 times of turning the key and giving it gas (the proccess takes about 20 minutes)...

Sounds like fuel problem. May be with the choke, may be with the carb. Check timing and fuel filter as well. Is air filter dirty? Start small and check basics, then work your way in. I have a 86 Ramcharger 360ci that looks like **** as well, but motor has 100,000+ miles without any major work done. I had an idle and driveability problem that was solved by a tune-up and carb rebuild.

Carb Floods out

Your float level is to high when you put the kit in they give you a float adjustment gauge, you will have to pull you carb back off and reset, but before you do that what is you choke set at if it wrong it will flood too,But if it set right you can look down your carb and you see gas dripping your you float is to high

1991 ramcharger, was running starting to sputter, died and will not stay running, hardly starts into a sputter, and stalls. changed cap, rotor, wires, and fuel filter. my ram has a 318 four barrel carter...

sounds like a fuel supply problem
I would be concentrating the efforts in the carby area , possible water in the carby , blocked main jets-
bad /wrong fuel( diesel mix from the bowser) I don't believe that it is electrical from your description
